Operating authority grants and involuntary suspensions
FMCSA moved operating authority to its Motus system in 2026 (legacy systems shut down May 14, data resumed June 12), so monthly grant counts before August 2026 mix a legacy import with a ramp-up and are not comparable. We show grants from August 2026 and suspensions from July 2026.
