How many new trucking companies register each month?
FMCSA added 15,178 USDOT numbers in August 2026, by add date in the Company Census File. Monthly counts over the last two years are on the statistics page.
Where do the contact details come from?
From each carrier's own filing with FMCSA: the email, phone, cell phone and company officers on the MCS-150 in the public Company Census File. We do not buy, scrape or guess contacts.
How fast is the feed?
The digest goes out as soon as FMCSA's daily Motus files post, usually by about 8:30 AM Eastern. Each event carries the date FMCSA stamped on it and the date it first appeared in the public files.
Is this the same list everyone else sells?
The underlying records are public, so the rows overlap with any vendor that reads FMCSA. What differs is the events we track (applications, Register publication, insurance filings, suspension notices, not just new USDOT numbers), the per-subscriber filters, the webhook on every plan, and the contact-quality flags that mark emails shared by filing services.
